Koh Ker
A remote archaeological site in northern Cambodia, briefly the Khmer capital in the 10th century under Jayavarman IV. Its seven tiered pyramid at Prasat Thom and dozens of other temples are spread through the forest. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A Khmer temple of the 11th and 12th centuries on a cliff edge of the Dangrek range, about 525 metres above the plain, dedicated to Shiva. It has a long processional approach of stairs and gateways and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
