A cluster of forest lakes and marshes at about 205 metres in Kailali District, in the far-western Terai. It became a Ramsar site in 2003 and a bird sanctuary in 2022.

A protected area in the far northwest corner of Nepal, set up in 2010 across 1,903 square kilometres. It climbs from 518 metres to the 7,132 metre summit of Api and is part of the Kailash Sacred Landscape.
