Bern Minster 29 km
A Gothic cathedral begun in 1421 whose 100 metre tower was only finished in 1893, making it the tallest cathedral in Switzerland. The main portal holds a carved Last Judgement, and the climb up the tower ends with a view over the old town's rooftops.

A pit at the eastern edge of the old town beside the Nydegg Bridge, where the city has kept bears, the animal on its coat of arms, for centuries. Since 2009 the bears have mostly lived in the larger BärenPark along the river bank next to it.
