Jumeirah Mosque
A white stone mosque on Jumeirah Beach Road, begun in 1975 and opened in 1979, built in the manner of medieval Cairo's Fatimid and Mamluk mosques. Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum gave it as a gift to his son, Sheikh Mohammed, and it is one of the few mosques in Dubai that welcomes non-Muslim visitors on guided tours.
