A landscape for breeding ceremonial carriage horses on the Elbe plain, centred on a stud farm founded in 1579. It is the home of the Kladruber horse, a Habsburg court breed, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019.

Litomyšl Castle
One of the largest Renaissance castles in the Czech Republic, with a facade covered in sgraffito and a Baroque theatre inside. The composer Bedřich Smetana was born in the castle brewery in 1824, and the site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
