Bataan Nuclear Power Plant
A nuclear power station on the Bataan coast, built in the 1970s and 1980s but never switched on after the 1986 revolution and safety concerns. Visitors can join guided tours of the reactor building and control room, which have been kept in good order.

The first national park in the Philippines, a scatter of limestone islets in Lingayen Gulf off Alaminos, Pangasinan. There are 124 islands at low tide and 123 at high tide, spread over about 16.76 square kilometres.

An isolated volcano rising from the farmland of the Central Luzon plains in Pampanga, at about 1,026 metres. It is protected as a national park with forest trails, a swimming pool fed by springs and views over the plains. Local legend ties it to the goddess Aring Sinukuan.
