Tintagel Castle
Ruins of a 13th-century castle built by Richard, Earl of Cornwall on a rocky peninsula of the north Cornish coast. Long before, the headland was probably a seasonal seat of the kings of Dumnonia, and legend makes it the place where King Arthur was conceived.
