Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
A rope bridge near Ballintoy that links the Antrim coast to the tiny island of Carrickarede. It spans 20 metres and hangs 30 metres above the rocks and sea below.
-
Dunluce Castle
The ruins of a medieval castle on the edge of a basalt cliff on the Antrim coast, reached by a bridge from the mainland. Sheer drops fall to the sea on either side, and it was once a seat of the MacQuillans and later the MacDonnells.
-
Mourne Mountains
A granite mountain range in County Down whose highest peak, Slieve Donard at 850 metres, is the highest in Ulster. The dry stone Mourne Wall runs across fifteen of its summits, and the range is said to have inspired C. S. Lewis's Narnia.
-
Titanic Belfast
A museum opened in 2012 on the old Harland and Wolff shipyard, where the RMS Titanic was built. Its angular building, as tall as the ship's hull, tells the story of the liner, her sister ships Olympic and Britannic and the city's shipbuilding past.

Derry's Walls
Stone walls built between 1613 and 1619 around the old centre of Derry, still complete and walkable for their full circuit of about 1.5 kilometres. Old cannon still sit on the ramparts, and the walk looks down over the city and the River Foyle.
